Tenbin Labs just pulled in $7.1 million in fresh seed cash and made one thing crystal clear: real gold is coming to blockchain in early 2026. This is not another vague RWA promise. This is a hard launch date from a team that now has Galaxy Ventures’ money and Mike Novogratz’s backing.

The round was led by Galaxy Ventures, the investment arm of Galaxy Digital, the crypto merchant bank started by former Goldman Sachs partner Mike Novogratz. Galaxy has quietly become one of the sharpest players in real-world asset tokenization, and putting $7.1 million into Tenbin Labs shows they believe this startup can actually deliver.

Other investors jumped in too, but the signal is loud: Galaxy sees Tenbin as a serious horse in the RWA race.

Gold First, Everything Else Later

Tenbin Labs is not trying to tokenize everything at once. They picked gold for a reason.

Physical gold still settles T+2 or slower in the traditional world, costs a fortune in storage and insurance, and you can’t split a 400-ounce bar to send $500 to a friend.

Tenbin plans to change that. Their tokenized gold will live on chain, settle instantly, and be usable anywhere crypto is accepted. One gram or one satoshi of gold, same speed, same finality.

The product drops in Q1 2026, with full audits and regulatory coverage already in progress.

Fixing the Real Problems Nobody Talks About

Most RWA projects sound great on paper but crash into the same walls: slow settlement, terrible user experience, and zero real liquidity.

Tenbin Labs is attacking all three head-on.

They built a new settlement layer that cuts finality down to seconds instead of days. They are working with custodians that already hold billions in physical metals. And most importantly, they are designing the tokens to be spent, not just held.

That last part matters more than people think. Right now, most tokenized assets are just expensive NFTs sitting in wallets. Tenbin wants theirs used for payments, lending, and trading, every single day.

Why This Round Matters More Than the Usual Crypto Raise

Seed rounds in crypto are common. Seed rounds led by Galaxy Ventures for a real-world asset play with a hard launch date are not.

This $7.1 million is not hype money. It is build money.

The team is small, focused, and now fully funded through the gold launch and beyond. They don’t need to raise again for two years if they hit their milestones, which is rare in this space.

Investors hate surprises. Tenbin just removed most of them.

This single funding round puts Tenbin Labs in the top tier of RWA builders overnight, right beside names like Ondo Finance and Centrifuge, but with a sharper focus and a Galaxy stamp of approval.

The tokenized gold race just got very real, and Tenbin now holds pole position for 2026.
